My Geo-Excursions

Welcome! This site is a tour through my geo-excursions (or virtual geology excursions), with their associated geo-puzzles. The geo-clues (geological and palaeontological) to the puzzles are presented as photographic and video field observations via google maps fieldnotes, with GPS co-ordinates allowing for anyone else to consider them in situ if they happen to be nearby. I would always encourage, where possible, seeing the rocks in the field. You get the full experience of sights, sounds and smells, plus inevitably you will find things I have missed.
